A1) SHOW 8 is an interactive online platform designed to train aspiring actors.Through this training platform, students can access exclusive lessons by renowned actors, directors, producers and other masters of production who will share tips, secrets and the building blocks to becoming a professional actor. At the completion of a full course, students who have demonstrated outstanding performance will be offered opportunities to put their skills to work in the entertainment industry.
Q2) Does SHOW 8 have any service area restriction?
A2) There is no service area restriction for SHOW 8 but the video training materials are mainly presented by Cantonese.
Q3) What language display does SHOW 8 support?
A3) SHOW 8 currently supports Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English displays.
Q4) What kinds of service does SHOW 8provide?
A4) SHOW 8 provides different services as below:
(i) Free viewing - Free experience in SHOW 8 courses；
(i) Paid VOD service - Unlimited viewing the videos in registered course;
(ii) Paid Interactive Course* - In-depth explanation of performing arts skills plus interactive learning with mentor.
*Remark: Students with outstanding performance may have opportunities to put their skills to work in the entertainment industry.

Q1) How can I subscribe to SHOW 8 service?
A1) International version:
Please select a suitable service for you and register through SHOW 8 official website www.show8.com. Once completed, please download SHOW 8 App via App Store or Google Play and enjoy our service after login.
You may download SHOW 8 App via Hiapk Market or Tencant Cloud and then register a suitable account, enjoy the service after login successfully.
Q2) How to terminate SHOW 8 service?
A2) Once you have subscribed SHOW 8 service, the service will be continuously effective during the service period. No refund or offset of the Fees will be provided by SHOW 8 if you cancel any part of or the whole of your existing plan of the Service once your purchase is accepted by SHOW 8.
Q3) Can I subscribe SHOW 8 service if I do not have an email address?
A3) Please provide a valid email address upon subscription in order to receive proper service related information e.g. confirmation notice, forget password, etc
Q4) Why do I need to provide mobile number for registration?
A4) A valid mobile number is required to complete authentication process via SMS upon subscription process.
Q5) Can I use the same account on different devise?
A5) Yes, you can login on different devices to use SHOW 8 service. However, your previous logged-in account on other device or browser will be automatically logged-out once arrange new login on different device.
Q6) What is the service charge of SHOW 8?
A6) Both “Paid VOD service” and “Paid Interactive Course” are paid services, please visit the official website: www.show8.com for details.
Q7) Is there any restriction on number of service Applications per email address and mobile number?
A7) Yes, each email address and mobile number can apply for one account only.
Q8) Can I take the course on SHOW 8 website?
A8) Yes, you can login SHOW 8 website to take the course.
Q9)How to change the course that being registered?
A9) Once the course is registered successfully, it cannot be changed, refunded or transferred to others.
Q10) Can I apply the course during the semester?
A10) Once the semester is kicked off, you can only apply as a “GPaid VOD service”. Please visit SHOW 8 website or SHOW 8 App to review the next available enrollment period of new semester for registration of “Paid Interactive Course“ account.
Q11)Any age restriction on the registration of SHOW 8?
A11) All applicants must be over 18 years of age.

A1) SHOW 8 International Version:
Both VISA or MASTER CARD are acceptable.

Q6) What can I do if I do not wish SHOW 8 to use my personal data for direct marketing purposes?
A6) You may select not to receive various marketing promotion information, offers and events during the registration process; or via email request to email@example.com or via Live Chat request after registration.
Q7) Why do EU region users need to agree with the Privacy Notice (EU) of SHOW 8?
A7) To incorporate the new privacy law under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU), users MUST agree with the Privacy Notice (EU) when using SHOW 8 service in EU region.
Q8) How to terminate my SHOW 8 service account?
A8) You may send an email request to firstname.lastname@example.org or apply via Live Chat in SHOW 8 platform. Please note the account cannot be reactivated and no refund will be arranged once it is being terminated. If you would like to apply for SHOW 8 service again in future, you would need to register with a new account.
Q1) Do the training videos provide bilingual broadcast? How to switch the audio language?
A1) All training videos presented by Cantonese only with Chinese and English subtitle.
Q2) Do the training videos provide Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or English subtitle? How to switch the subtitle setting?
A2) All training videos (except Live broadcast) provide Simplified Chinese & English or Traditional Chinese & English subtitles. Subtitle will be preset under the language setting on SHOW 8 UI platform, you may go to “Setting”> “Language” to select your desired language.
Q3) How to find out the training schedule of SHOW 8?
A3) You may get the schedule as below:

(ii) login SHOW 8 App.
Q4) What is the level of resolution provided in the videos?
A4) SHOW 8 App: It presets as HD picture quality (both SD and HD can be provided)
SHOW 8 Website: It provides HD picture quality only.
Q5) Why the training videos cannot be played?
A5) Videos cannot be played because:
(i) Account does not support related courses;
(ii) Data network is not stable;
(iii) The device is not compatible with SHOW 8 service.
Q6) Can all kinds of videos being stored in 「My SHOW 8」?
A6) Only course related training videos can be stored in「My SHOW 8」 (Personal video communications with mentors will not be included)
Q7) How to get back the videos that being stored?
A7) You may press the icon of “❽” in SHOW 8 App for viewing the videos that being stored.
Q8) Any difference in the content of training videos between SHOW 8 App and website?
A8) When using same login account, the contents will be same either using SHOW 8 App or website.
Q9) Can I designate a mentor to teach me?
A9) It is not available to arrange designated mentor for all SHOW 8 courses.
Q10) Is there only one mentor for each course?
A10) Depends on the course arrangement, appropriate number of mentor(s) will be assigned.
Q11) Any training materials or handouts can be provided?
A11) The lessons mainly conducted by training videos, no handouts or physical materials will be provided.
Q12)Can I change another mentor if I am dissatisfied with the mentor?

Q13)How long does a course take?
A13) The duration of a course is around 15 weeks, depends on the course structure.

A7) No, PC with virtual OS does not support SHOW 8 Web service.

Q9) Why can’t I upload the video file of “Self introduction”?

Q11)How to edit or delete assignment?
A11) You may upload another assignment again before the submission deadline. No further edit or deletion will available after the submission deadline.
Q12) Why can't I play the video or the video doesn't play smoothly?

Q15) Why can’t I use tablet PC to play the videos?
